The Operations Team at Mycelium exists to improve the experience of employees and facilitate the success of Mycelium and its products. As our Experience Manager, you will work within the Operations Team and your ultimate mission will be to make the experience of every staff member more seamless. You will do so by being the go-to person for office-related support, facilitating internal staff events, ordering and upkeeping supplies, and ensuring office cleanliness is maintained.

The successful candidate will mirror many of Mycelium’s core values by being forward-thinking, customer-obsessed, data-led, and motivated to take initiative with energy and confidence. They will also need to be based in Brisbane though the position can be casual, part-time, or full-time, by negotiation.


  • Establish relationships and rapport with the whole office.
  • Provide hands on support when needed such as assistance when setting up for events.
  • Maintain a log of office equipment and conduct periodical inventory checks.
  • Greet company visitors and prepare meeting rooms.
  • Assist the leadership team with tasks such as setting up meetings, booking travel, taking meeting notes.
  • Manage vendor relationships (including cleaners, building management and catering).
  • Maintain office cleanliness.
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to optimise office procedures.
  • Work with our People Team to assist with onboarding and offboarding.
  • Order and maintain office supplies such as groceries, toiletries, office material, company merchandise, and anything needed on regular basis.


  • Minimum of 1 year experience in an Administration or Office Manager type role.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Prior experience working with startups will be highly advantageous.
  • High degree of proficiency with G Suite.
  • Ability to work proactively and handle self with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to deliver in a fast paced environment.
