Web3 Senior Legal and Compliance - Crypto

Responsibilities:

• Review and provide legal advice regarding documents as needed and applicable rules and regulations to the Business Manager and Management
• Draft, review, and interpret legal information and documents along with negotiating all contracts
• Keep up to date with, and understand relevant laws and regulations
• Maintain current knowledge of alterations in legislation
• Oversee and execute compliance initiatives
• Coordinate and deal with complex matters with multiple departments to fulfill information requests from regulators
• Develop and implement an effective legal compliance program
• Drive key projects related to new product licenses, compliance, or anti-money laundering procedure

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law major
• Have a minimum of 4 years of working experience as an in-house legal counsel or in a law firm (Prior experience in crypto exchange company would be a plus)
• Have vast knowledge and understanding about digital and crypto assets trading regulation from Badan Pengawas Perdagangan Berjangka Komoditi (Bappebti)
• Outstanding communication skills
• Able to provide judgment and analyze situations, information, news update, etc
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures
• Possess a growth mindset and a team player
• Strong critical thinking and sense of improvement
