As an HR & Administrative Coordinator you will be responsible for various HR and administrative duties related to Localcoin. This will include coordinating welcome-packages for key business partners or employees, coordinating meetings and socials with internal and external stakeholders and so much more! As a HR & Administrative Coordinator you will work on a wide variety of projects within the People Team and across the organization.

This position will report directly to our Director of People & Talent and will be based out of our head office in Etobicoke, Ontario.


People Operations

  • Maintain the integrity of employee data in our People Management system (BambooHR) for all employees such as; reporting, uploading documents, and processing job changes
  • Collaborate with People Operations Generalist and Hiring Managers to coordinate the new hire onboarding process including sending out new hire packages, creating onboarding plans, new hire communications and preparing training meetings for new hires
  • Lead the planning and organization of leadership and company wide events such as team socials, leadership offsites and company-wide meetings
  • Assist with the performance management process on Lattice system, including the effort to create evaluation templates and conduct frequent audits of the system
  • Stay current on HR technologies and best practices and seek ways to improve employee experience and administrative efficiency


  • Provide professional support on variety of administrative tasks across the company
  • Manage company documents via Google Drive, Confluence and JIRA
  • Arrange the logistics for special events across the company
  • Manage all logistics for standard business travel and special events
  • Assist with research projects and data audits across the company
  • Prepare presentations, documents and other reports as needed
  • Organize the day-to-day office operations and inventory


  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Be able to manage priorities and work on several tasks simultaneously
  • Experience with tools such as: Slack, Google Suite (Meets, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Presentation), and Excel
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with senior leaders and external partners
  • Self-directed individual with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Agility and flexibility in response to changing priorities and needs; with strong follow through
  • Strong collaboration and relationship management skills with ability to build a personal network throughout the company and with external partners as needed
  • High level of integrity and understanding of importance surrounding confidential information
