Our Sales team is continuing to grow and we are looking for a motivated, customer focused, Account Executive to join our team.

As an Account Executive with Localcoin, you will be responsible for overseeing and expanding business relationships with both existing and new clients. You will work with Localcoins franchise partners and independent partners to foster and grow ongoing business relationships.

This position will be based out of our office in Etobicoke, ON, and will have a hybrid work schedule.


  • Effectively onboard and manage retail partner relationships, ensuring regular touchpoints to maximize satisfaction and competitive advantage
  • Educate clients on the benefits of Localcoin product/services within retail locations
  • Provide high quality support to our retail partners by listening, understanding and resolving their concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Assist in the contract renewal process for all existing partners which includes contract negotiation and close to maximize client retention
  • Manage inquiries on current contracts with our retail partners such as change in ownership, change in terminal location, or retail location renovations
  • Create opportunities to expand business with existing partners by identifying business needs and presenting a solution during the course of the relationship
  • Collaborate with operations, sales and finance teams to ensure any changes with the retail partners/contracts are reflected into Localcoin internal systems
  • Travel to client sites to conduct in person meetings which includes; understanding client concerns, handle disputes, contract renewals and location audits
  • Stay up to date and understand client trends and information i.e organizational structure and decisions makers, financials, and competition
  • Strive to achieve monthly targets and KPI’s


  • 2-3 years of experience in an Account Executive(or equivalent) role
  • Experience working with CRM tools like Salesforce, FreshDesk or Hubspot
  • Experience with Microsoft office suite (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
  • Outgoing and highly customer centric individual who is passionate about providing a positive experience for all of Localcoins partners
  • Strong listening, negotiation and problem solving skills
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively to individuals over the phone, in person, or through other communication channels
  • The ability to operate in an entrepreneurial high-growth culture
  • Strong and demonstrated interest/knowledge in the cryptocurrency market
  • Have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
  • Nice to have: Fluent in French (both verbal and written)
