YOUR PURPOSE Coin Metrics is recruiting an experienced Python Backend Engineer to join our Market Data team to assist in developing our Market Data product offering. YOUR VALUE Writing, reviewing, and testing Python code. Collaborate with other members of the team. Own the features and issues from writing code to deployment & monitoring. Looking into issues with the data when they occur by exploring Postgres databases and API Architecting schemas in our warehouse for storing data and coming up with ideas on how to store huge volumes of data in a scalable way YOUR EXPERTISE AND EXPERIENCE Interest in crypto and crypto assets 4+ years of background in backend engineering, data pipelines, data collection, and data storage. Expertise in Python, APIs Experience with Docker, Linux, Postgres Familiarity with writing unit and integration tests. Fluent in English with great interpersonal skills. Desire to work in an international team and collaborate with team members.
