Job Summary

The key responsibility of the Matrix Operator is to control and display graphics throughout the Crypto.com Arena.

Essential Functions

  • Operate control surface during event to play sponsorship and fan prompt animations and graphics according to the script or run of show.
  • Setup new graphics.
  • Test existing graphics.

Required Qualifications (Job Knowledge, Skills, And Education)

  • A minimum education level of: High School Diploma or its equivalency (BA/BS Degree Preferred)
  • A minimum of 2-4 years of related work experience
  • General knowledge of computer operations to access graphics and files from the show computer.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Ability to successfully handle multiple priorities and projects
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be a very organized and work well under pressure
  • Must work well in a team environment
  • Ability to work in various climates based on the environment
  • Ability to demonstrate dependability and reliability by being punctual, working assigned and varying shifts, and completing responsibilities in a timely manner are required
  • Must have the ability to stand, sit, crouch, and bend throughout the course of daily activities
  • Must have the ability to stand or sit in one location for a minimum of four hours at a time
  • Must have a flexible schedule, with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Preferred Qualifications (if Applicable)

  • Live sporting event experience is preferred
  • Experience with DAKTRONICS signage systems is preferred
