The Head of Marketing role will join the Gauntlet team to lead the development and execution of our marketing strategy. This person will have the scope to build a team from scratch, define our brand identity, and build the systems we need to communicate our value to a broader audience and engage our already very healthy waitlist of customers wanting to onboard and use our product.

This role will report directly to the VP of Growth and will partner closely with the leadership team. While we celebrate a diverse set of experience and background – subject matter expertise in Product Marketing, Growth, and/or Brand is highly desirable, and experience leading high-performing and engaged teams is essential.

In this role your initial challenge will be to define our company's positioning and translate the complex offering into a more digestible and compelling format, we will then need to build an engagement strategy (for you to define) to create value and maintain interest in our long pipeline of waitlisted customers. Said differently, our product market fit is exceptional, and now we need to build an enduring and trusted brand around it.

  • Build and lead a high-performing marketing team
  • Strategize and lead the execution of all marketing plans and campaigns to produce sales and revenue for Gauntlet and our products
  • Define our ideal customer profile, develop associate messaging and positioning, and conduct competitive analysis
  • Build out metrics and tracking for marketing initiatives
  • Creating a white-gloved, high-touch sales experience to draw in prospects and convert them to customers, including custom decks, one-pagers, and more
  • Establish and execute GTM programs for all product releases


  • 7+ years of demonstrated experience in B2B senior marketing roles, with a focus on content marketing, product marketing, and communications.
  • A demonstrated background in building marketing strategies from the ground up.
  • Past experience working on building out positioning for companies.
  • Experience building out metrics and tracking for marketing efforts for each stage of the funnel
  • Proven ability to plan and manage budgets, vendors, tools, and contractors.
  • Has hired, coached, and managed small teams.
