Who We Are: The Solana Foundation has a mission to help support and grow the Solana network and its community while driving mass adoption of blockchain. Based in Switzerland, the Solana Foundation is working to realize a world where individuals own their data, use permissionless networks, and transfer information freely around the world. Responsibilities Lead Marketing globally for Solana Foundation Help us define the Solana brand and its values and craft the stories that we should be highlighting/telling in order to advance the goals of the Solana Foundation Drive innovative brand strategies in a decentralized ecosystem Develop a deep understanding of our major existing and high potential developer and user personas Work with Developer Relations to drive the strategy and promotion of top-tier developer content, community, forums, documentation, and self-serve materials. Support developer and consumer marketing efforts across the Solana ecosystem Drive the right audiences to Solana’s virtual and in-person events, including Hackathons and Hacker Houses Create a third-party event strategy that aligns with Solana’s role in the community and with the results and initiatives that we are driving Lead strategies for reaching the right developers, partners, influencers, and users in key verticals (eg DeFi, NFTs, Payments, and Gaming) Identify, scope, and produce or adapt compelling content and marketing assets to support our teams and drive understanding of and demand for Solana Build creative user and developer marketing campaigns that resonate with Solana Foundation brand values Own the Solana Foundation websites Requirements: 10+ years experience in Developer and User Marketing 5+ years of building and leading high-performing marketing teams Critical thinker with excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience building world-class, relevant developer and user brands Ability to thrive in unstructured, fast-growing companies and ecosystems Product or Eng experienced a bonus Crypto experience is a bonus, but not required (Crypto passion required)
