Responsibilities You will be the critical connection between IoTeX Foundation (IF) and the developers that maintain and build new tools for the IoTeX ecosystem. You will seek to deeply understand the developer experience, developer needs, and developer perspective, and will act as an advocate and representative of the developer community for Foundation activities. Work across core dev and key ecosystem builders to understand the IoTeX developer experience. Develop a forward-looking strategy for what the IoTeX developer experience should be over the next 1, 5, and 10 years. Develop education and documentation to help developers succeed, including individual contributors and ecosystem builders Help scope and evaluate developer grants and work with grantees to help developers succeed This work will include elements of community building, advocacy, and technical w Requirements Demonstrated experience engaging developers, either within a startup, or via clubs, meetups, or other communities. 2+ yr development experience Passionate about educating and mentoring developers Empathy and a proven ability to listen to people’s needs and pain points Excellent written and verbal technical communication skills Deep understanding and passion for cryptocurrency and blockchain Bonus Already highly active in developer communities: StackOverflow, GitHub, DEV, Reddit, Twitter, etc. Published technical content such as articles, guides, tutorials, and videos Currently maintaining or contributing to an open-source project Location Remote First Job type Full Time About Us Here at MachineFi Lab, we’re building tomorrow’s internet today and powering the new reward economy by creating a fairer / safer / and more rewarding internet.
