What you'll do: You will report to the Senior Accountant Assist in the month & year-end close process including but not limited to: Accounting for our foreign subsidiary Monthly Bank & Credit Card Reconciliations Payroll Accounting Prepare monthly journal entries Update & reconcile Fixed Asset, Prepaid, and Accrued Expense Schedules Assist with documentation of accounting policies and procedures that ensure all financial transactions are executed according to GAAP principles Provide assistance with financial audit Perform ad-hoc assignments upon request Who you are: Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or a related field required 1+ year work experience preferred Working knowledge of GAAP Excellent Excel skills Ability to thrive and contribute in a fast-paced high growth environment Self-starter and team player that will take initiative on individual projects but also be able to work well as part of a team Experience with NS preferred Great interpersonal and teamwork skills Benefits: Be part of a company with a real mission you can be proud of We offer great health care plans and pay the full premium for you and your family including medical, dental, and vision Generous PTO and sick leave Monthly wellness stipend 401k with a 4% company match Public is an equal employment opportunity employer to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type.
