Join our Accounting team and help shape the future of crypto and technology! Our accounting team plays a pivotal role at Kraken - we are an agile globally distributed team of accountants and hard-working crypto enthusiasts who are shaping the future of crypto accounting. This role is fully remote.

The opportunity

• Lead global revenue cycle by providing strategic leadership to the revenue team
• Change existing manual processes into automated workflows consistently applied throughout organization
• Improve timeliness and accuracy of the revenue close cycle
• Work closely with external auditors on revenue related issues
• Ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations in all jurisdiction we operate
• Work cross functionally with product, engineering, tax and legal teams on all new product initiatives
• Partner with data and engineering teams to enforce and monitor data hygiene across platforms and systems

Skills you should HODL

• 20+ years of experience in accounting with at least 5 in a Senior Management position
• 5 + years of experience at a fintech or financial services organization
• Exceptional technical accounting knowledge
• High level of technical expertise and knowledge
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills and the ability to simply complex concepts to facilitate broader organizational understanding
• Ability to work independently across multiple groups in a rapidly changing environment
• Passion or intellectual curiosity for the crypto landscape
• Inspiring leader with a strong focus on team inclusion, engagement and developmentExcellent communicator with outstanding verbal and written communication
