Our reporters and editors are constantly on the lookout for the most important breaking news stories that help our audience navigate the ever-changing crypto landscape. From industry-defining scoops to in-depth investigations, The Block’s newsroom sets the standard for crypto journalism globally. Responsibilities Report on government policy and regulation impacting the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry Build a deep set of contacts among regulators, politicians, and lobbyists, collect, verify and analyze newsworthy information Write and deliver news stories with our readers’ perspectives in mind Stay up-to-date with the latest current events in the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry Qualifications Prior writing and reporting experience An ability to juggle multiple stories and deadlines A track record of interviewing and interacting with primary sources Passion for technology, with a dash of skepticism where warranted English-language writing experience Experience with cryptocurrency and blockchain a bonus but not required Who We Are: The culture of The Block lies in our key behaviors.
