Kraken is looking for an experienced engineering manager to build and lead currency integration within the Custody engineering team. This is an opportunity to build a team of world class engineers who are deeply passionate about cryptocurrencies, security, and amazing user experiences. The Custody Engineering team is tasked with evaluating the integration of cryptocurrencies from start through finish.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading engineering teams
• 2+ years of experience managing remote teams
• Experience with C, C++, Go, Java or ideally Rust
• You’re interested or engaged in the low level functions of cryptocurrencies
• You are interested in blockchain technologies and open to the potential it has to positively transform our world
• You are passionate about software engineering, improving processes, and driving change
• You have interacted with multiple chains (personal or professional projects)

Preferred Qualifications

• Writing low level hardware code
• Experience working in crypto/ blockchain technology
