Web3 Sanctions and AML Analyst

The core purpose of the role: To provide assistance to the Risk and Compliance departments in analyzing and contacting our client base to ensure that our regulatory requirements are fulfilled. Main responsibilities of the role: Perform Sanctions, PEP, and Adverse Media screening on a daily basis Respond to customer’s inquiries on a daily basis Perform Enhanced Due Diligence Work on investigations for confirmed Sanctions/PEP/Adverse media cases to detect, prevent and report on possible money laundering, terrorism financing, corruption, and other suspicious activity Creating and filing SARs Assist Team Lead, teammates, and Heads of departments with projects and any ad hoc requests Perform mentoring tasks as assigned Review and contribute to compliance training materials for staff, as needed Other duties as assigned Requirements: 1+ years of experience in compliance, KYC/AML, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening (preferably with a financial services company or other fintech company) Good knowledge of the sanctions environment and FinCrime issues Interest or experience in financial regulation; knowledge of fintech and regulatory environment relevant to payment institutions Strong focusing during the day High attentiveness to details Excellent open search skills Ability to quickly analyze data Good team player Eager to learn and develop new skills and comfortable working with different technical tools Excellent skills with Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc Solid communications, analytical, time management, and interpersonal skills Advanced in English Benefits: Semi-remote type of work with flexible business hours Extended medical insurance & additional Сovid 19 coverage are available after one month of cooperation with Wirex R&D 22 business days of paid holidays a year Paid sick leaves, state holidays, and paid days on special occasions Annual bonuses in cryptocurrency Sabbatical up to 3 months after more than one year of collaboration with the company Fast career development PE accounting and support Free Parking Diversity and Inclusion We invite applications from anyone who shares our vision and demonstrates our company values.
