Wirex are a FinTech company based in the UK and were currently hiring for a Paralegal/Regulatory Analyst to join our Legal team in London! It's an exciting time to get on board!​ Core Purpose of the role: To provide regulatory analysis on topics such as e-money, payment services and virtual assets in the United Kingdom, Ireland and the European Economic Area (EEA), US, APAC and other jurisdictions that Wirex is operating/will be operating Assist and play an active role in project management to implement regulatory-driven changes within the business Main Responsibilities: Tracking regulatory developments and distilling the information in a clear and considered way for the United Kingdom, Ireland and the European Economic Area (EEA), US, APAC and other jurisdictions that Wirex is operating/will be operating Managing projects to implement regulatory-driven changes within the business Drafting and maintaining internal policies to ensure they remain current from both a regulatory and internal governance perspective Working closely and collaboratively with internal stakeholders and liaising with external stakeholders including law enforcement Overseeing and implementing processes and actions for requests received in connection with personal data protection laws Provide assistance to the Regulatory Counsel with ongoing projects and any ad hoc requests Essential Experience required: Minimum 2 years’ of experience in financial services, preferably in payments and/or virtual assets.
