Web3 Senior/Staff Python Backend Engineer

Job Description We are currently looking for a Senior or Staff Python backend engineer to work on core trading functionalities. Your work will include building trading strategies, researching new data sources, and designing and improving the research and trading systems. You will work very closely with traders, infrastructure engineers, and data engineers. The role is ideal for a candidate with strong programming and analytic skills who is interested to work in building new high-performance systems and developing their knowledge of system architecture, as well as finance and trading. Crypto exchange experience is not required, but interest in financial and crypto markets would be an advantage. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field 8 years of relevant work experience in software development Experience designing, building, and maintaining distributed applications or data processing systems Expert-level understanding and hands-on experience on a cloud platform and architecture like AWS, GCP, Azure, etc Hands-on experience with database design. (SQL or NoSQL) Solid experience in software engineering and architecture design Preferred Qualifications Familiar with a variety of databases Familiar with one programming language Experience with deployment methodologies and technologies (e.g., CI/CD, Ansible, Terraform) Experience in ETL, data lake, or data warehouse pipeline Hands-on technical leadership experience leading project teams and setting technical direction Salary Range Staff Salary NT$ 4,000,000 ~ 8,000,000+ / year Senior Salary NT$ 2,500,000 ~ 6,000,000+ / year
