Concordium has developed and launched a blockchain technology made for the future economy, in which qualities such as compliance, cost efficiency, transparency, accountability and concern for the environment are in focus. As an integral part of the blockchain project, Concordium has developed and launched its own crypto currency, the CCD, which is listed on several crypto exchanges. Concordium is deeply rooted in science, and the Tech team works closely with the blockchain research group COBRA at Aarhus University and ETH Zurich. It is the first blockchain with identification built into the protocol to meet regulatory requirements with the ability to build fully decentralized applications for the web using Rust-based smart contracts. Our department solves some very complex assignments, and we are looking for an engineering manager who wants to help us build products that bring satisfaction to our stakeholders and who can lead our Developer Tools team in Aarhus, Denmark.

Key responsibilities

  • Work with our product team, external and internal stakeholders to define quarterly roadmaps that align with Concordium’s vision.
  • Evolve the vision and the mission for the Developer Tools Team through close contact with stakeholders.
  • Ensure day-to-day execution of our roadmap and delivery of projects using agile methodologies to achieve top quality.
  • Grow your organization, coach and motivate your strong team of developers.
  • Set high standards for the engineering culture and help us create an awesome work environment.

Qualifications

  • Our preferred candidate has the following professional and personal qualifications:
  • At least four years of experience managing both senior and junior engineers directly.
  • Experience working with product managers and shipping products on time.
  • A customer obsessed, problem-solving, highly collaborative attitude.
  • A background as a software engineer.

Education

  • At least a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related fields.
