The spot The finance department is looking for a qualified accountant to grow with the business. You will support the team in maintaining processes and controls and implementing improvements to grow the business. As Finance Manager, you are responsible for monitoring the monthly close and supporting the company's financial accounting. The role is broad and covers reporting responsibilities, with the opportunity to move on to more business-oriented tasks as you progress. An important part of the task is to proactively suggest improvements, increase efficiency and implement new processes in the company. In your role as Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the following tasks, among others Preparation of the monthly business reports with informative financial analyzes and explanations for the board (profit and loss account, balance sheet, comparative analysis) Reporting on business development on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis Assisting the Finance Director with audit and compliance issues. Responsible for the management of the monthly closing and Responsible for ensuring the timely receipt and verification of services provided by external accounting and payroll service providers and for the administration of these services Continuous review and improvement of processes and systems to ensure efficiency Business partnership with different teams to ensure knowledge of all ongoing activities Implementation of new robust controls and stricter financial processes. Supervising junior colleagues who manage financial transactions (accounting, accounts payable, payroll, bank reconciliation) Extensive ad hoc projects to support the company in its expansion. Requirements: Completed studies with a focus on accounting or completed commercial training with further training as an accountant 2-4 years of experience as an accountant or with CIMA/ACA/ACCA certification Fluent knowledge of business German Fluent in business English Experience working with international companies and multiple currencies is an advantage Good knowledge of using online accounting software (Xero or similar) Good knowledge of DATEV Advanced Excel skills Excellent understanding of processes and automation Experience in project implementation Excellent attention to detail Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines Independent employee with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Benefits: Competitive Salary Working at Parity means focusing on what matters most: developing the most advanced technology for the Internet of the future.
