We’re Hiring: Business Development Director As a Business Development Director, you’ll search for new opportunities, which will positively impact Talos’s long-run revenue trajectory. You will primarily focus on identifying: new product areas to explore, new markets and client types, and new distribution channels. Responsibilities and Duties Evaluate and qualify new revenue and distribution opportunities. Presenting recommendations to internal leaders and leading exploratory conversations with potential partners and customers across industries Partner closely with product leads to accelerate Talos’s product portfolio through strategy development, market discovery, competitive intelligence, and more Articulate business requirements and high-level product requirements in collaboration with technical product teams, sales, and customer success, always taking Talos’s long-term objectives into consideration Develop and manage key external relationships to advance Talos’s strategic interests, improve customer experience and accelerate long-term revenues Stay on top of key industry trends and developments across both CeFI and DeFi Proactively identify process gaps and opportunities for process improvement Collaborate with many cross-functional teams such as sales, finance, marketing, account management, operations, and more Discover new target client segments or geographic targets for our existing product portfolio, while working with Marketing and Sales to refine Talos’s GTM strategy Work with senior management to establish new distribution channels for Talos’s current and future product suite through resellers, referrals, and technology partnerships Qualifications We are looking for a highly passionate and enthusiastic candidate with excellent attention to detail and a very strong understanding of digital assets and traditional financial markets Ability to drive consensus and coordinate processes with a diverse group of cross-functional stakeholders in Sales, Product, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, and more 7+ years of professional experience in SaaS or capital markets business development Must be a proactive self-starter with the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced startup environment Can translate complex information into easily consumable insights across business leaders Strong analytical skills including the ability to build business cases and analyze / model key economic drivers Excellent communication and presentation skills London preferred, the possibility of remote work
