The Pagoda Engineering team is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to help the team cope with the operational load of a fast-growing company and help us create a self-sustaining blockchain infrastructure. You will be working with complex concurrent systems, automation that reduces repeated manual work, and infrastructures that collect and visualize telemetry data. You will be expected to fully own various components and drive their implementation from beginning to end, including the design, the implementation, the maintenance, and the documentation. You will be surrounded by highly productive and meticulous engineers who will be holding you to the same standards. What You'll Be Doing: Communication and collaboration with a globally distributed team End-to-end ownership of infrastructures (for handling telemetry data, for performing testing, etc). Design and implementation of infrastructure components. Performance tuning and optimizations Create and own runbooks that support the on-call rotation What We're Looking For: Experience working with networks and operating systems Ability to learn new languages and technologies quickly Operational Excellence Ability to go from design to implementation quickly Good communication skills Experience with building, scaling, and operating infrastructures Experience with concurrency or parallelism Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related fields is a must We'd Love If You Have: Familiarity with the internals of other blockchains Virtualization knowledge (setting up and using virtual machines) Knowledge of algorithms and data structures Good coding skills Experience debugging complex concurrent systems Here’s What Our Interview Process Looks Like: Depending on calendar availability, from the first stage to the final stage, we do our best to keep the entire process to under three weeks.
