The Opportunity As an owner of Ledn, each team member has an adaptive role in a fast-paced progressive environment where their voice contributes to the team and growth. As a Full-Time Senior Software Engineer, your main responsibilities will be to develop and build out our architecture. You will provide solutions for high-priority projects and take ownership of projects. You will be end-to-end from building, creating, implementing, testing, and maintaining. You are a builder and love to write code, create, work autonomously, think through architecture, and provide solutions with the Engineering team to improve our business automation and streamline our client journey. You will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer and be an integral part of the team. We use an exciting tech stack with a frontend in React and backend in Node.js with API deployment using serverless and AWS gateway. We are an AWS infrastructure and deploy node typescript through Lambdas. We are an agnostic environment where we pride ourselves on our agility, adaptability, and collaboration. About the Role Full-stack, you are comfortable with front-end and back-end and everything in between but have a true passion for back-end. You will be in build and design mode and get to create. You will see your projects in production in no time and participate in client calls so you experience the impact of your work and build exactly what our clients need. You will have a low ego. We're a flat team here at Ledn and the best ideas win! Develop and maintain the Company’s continuous integration and deployment platform. Improve infrastructure resilience and monitor infrastructure security. Provide day-to-day system administration. Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve build and deployment issues. Participate in on-call rotation for unforeseen outages and production issues. Stay up to date on cryptocurrency technology and market developments to ensure the Company continues to be a leader in the digital asset space. What You Bring to Ledn: 4+ years of practical software engineering experience. Extensive experience with AWS ( Lambda, API Gateway, Cognito, AppSync, CloudWatch and CloudTrail, SQS, SNS). Microservices, Event Driven Architecture experience. Practical Node.js experience required. Javascript, and Typescript, are your strongest languages. Experience with MongoDB or NoSQL preferred. React & React Native with practical experience building out code with our tech stack preferred. Understanding of application infrastructure (serverless) and continuous development. Nice To Have Previous experience working in a startup environment. Financial industry experience is considered a strong asset. Knowledge of blockchain technology is another important aspect of successfully managing and enhancing business operations. Big Data experience.
