About the project:

Klink Finance, founded in 2022, is operating at the intersection of finance- and blockchain technology. Our mission at Klink is to build products for people who want to make the most out of their life and finances. Klink eliminates risk and makes dealing with your finances exciting and rewarding to enable good and recurring financial habits, by leveraging the power of gamification methods.

The three founders work in a completely remote set-up and have experience across various skillsets developed within highly successful startups and corporate ecosystems in international contexts across the EU & USA. Klink is already backed by international investors from Italy & Singapore and will launch publicly in Q4 2022 to provide huge financial impact to it’s users across Europe in the coming years.

Tasks

We have developed a prototype and are now looking for our first tech hire to join our CTO in getting our Klink app ready to launch while we further grow our tech department. As you will work on building an innovative solution competing with products on a global scale, you will always be up to date on all the latest technologies and best practices, especially regarding the blockchain space.

• Work on high-scalable products with PHP/Laravel and NodeJS hosted on a cloud-based infrastructure
• Build and provide internal & external RESTful APIs that ensure a fast & frictionless updating of our products
• Develop multiple platforms ranging from high throughput to maximum faultlessness
• Integration of external providers from the FinTech & Blockchain industry
• Contribute to the agile development processes and the growing team’s needs
• Maintain our continuous integration & continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
• Frequent communication about the solutions with CTO and the founders

Requirements

We do not focus on the time you have spent sitting in the lecture halls of this world but we want to understand what makes you feel comfortable, extraordinarily motivated and suitable to take over this position. We are looking for a team member who feels comfortable working remotely and in English in an international environment with a self-driven “Get stuff done” mindset.

• You have good MVP-focused coding skills in any modern programming language (prior experience with NodeJS, PHP, Python, Java, C# or similar is required)
• Good knowledge of React/React Native
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with cloud-based technologies, (e.g AWS, GCP)
• Good theoretical knowledge of data structures and algorithms as well as relational databases
• You have a basic technical understanding of HTTP and RESTful APIs
• You are passionate about writing well-structured, efficient and maintainable code
• You expand your knowledge of reliable architecture, programming and new technologies

Nice to have:

• Good understanding of cloud solutions (Amazon Web Services)
• Knowledge in building scalable distributed products and practical experience with caching (Redis)
• Previous experience with handling & querying relational databases (MySQL)
• You have a proven understanding of Blockchain/Web3 solutions
