As Director of Marketing at Upshot, you will oversee all marketing operations at the company — designing, implementing, and monitoring its marketing strategy and vision. You will ensure marketing activities of Upshot directly contribute to the company’s long-term success. The ideal candidate will be strategic with strong operational capabilities, results and outcome-oriented, a creative problem solver, highly collaborative, and able to drive cultural transformation within the business. The Director of Marketing will also create and manage a communication strategy aligned with the overall marketing strategy. Responsibilities: - Develop and manage brand image across multiple channels - Develop a marketing plan that covers brand, events, social, and content and implements, measure, and tweak that plan - Develop and execute press/ comms strategy - Supporting sales and user growth - Tracking, analyzing, and reporting on KPIs and insights - Being highly data-driven in defining strategy and setting/managing goals - Work across the Upshot org to develop user and partner personas - Facilitating the growth of a passionate community of developers and users who can build on/benefit from our unique NFT price models/data - Design campaigns around product, feature, or partner launches - Owning messaging to stay ahead of market trends, creating a constant feedback loop with our customer’s needs, and establishing differentiated market positioning - Identifying new opportunities and emerging channels to help grow our business and brand Requirements: - 7+ years of experience leading marketing initiatives in technology, with focus on content, product, and organic channels - Proficiency in Excel, SQL, or other analytical tools; comfort in drawing conclusions from data and making recommendations based on imperfect information - A high degree of comfort navigating ambiguity and tackling white space - Demonstrated experience owning and executing a strategy to drive tangible results across teams in a high-growth, entrepreneurial, and ambiguous environment - Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to leverage data from a multitude of sources to tell a persuasive story, tailor communication style based on the audience, and influence others - Proven track record of success in setting ambitious goals and achieving them in a metrics-driven environment Nice to have: - Experience working in crypto and launching successful crypto marketing initiatives - Experience collecting NFTs - Strong creative judgment Upshot is an equal opportunity employer.
