Blockworks is a financial media brand that delivers breaking news and premium insights about digital assets to millions of investors. Our content, newsletters, podcasts and events provide investors with the critical analysis and information they need to make smarter decisions about digital assets.

What You’ll Do

As one of our Podcast Producers, you'll work with incredibly talented members of our Production team to help create and direct content for a number of our crypto-centric podcast productions. You'll work directly with our podcast host to help shape the narrative and execution of our productions. Every day will look a little different, but in general, you will do things like:

• Research, Draft, and Develop Episodes: You'll oversee ideas from conception through production. This includes everything from creating detailed interviewee briefings for our hosts to creating and marketing clips for social media.
• Identify, Source, and Secure Guests: You'll proactively work to identify podcast guests who have untapped potential for creating exceptional stories relevant to our in-house shows.
• Author Dynamic Show and Episode Copy: You'll lead the design, evolution, and finalization of copy for our in-house shows that help drive viewer engagement and downloads.
• Oversee Blockworks Webinars: You'll help grow our webinar platform by researching clients and sponsors, identifying and writing topics, sourcing and securing relevant speakers, and moderating our live events online.
• Support IRL Conference Content: In partnership with other Blockworks team members, you'll help support content for our in-person conference events, including live panels.
• Learn and Embrace the Blockworks Audience: In conjunction with the rest of the production team, you'll work to understand the core audience segments and proactively uncover insights that will stimulate engagement and content evolution.
• Sponsorship Engagement: You'll help to drive engaging sponsorship campaigns that create exceptional results that grow our awareness, audience, and revenue.

Experimentation is frequent at Blockworks. Comfortability with being uncomfortable is a must.

• You are a crypto enthusiast, and have your finger on the pulse of what is happening in the industry.
• You have demonstrated success in managing the pre and post-production of podcasts and webinars and understand what it takes to continuously create compelling and engaging content quickly.
• You’re a dynamic writer and pride yourself on your ability to think critically about meaningful content.
• You are confident in your abilities and thrive in both a collaborative and independent work environment.
• You have a knack for understanding, attracting, and keeping an audience engaged, as well as a deep understanding of crypto and its associated industries.
• You have an unbridled enthusiasm and passion for storytelling and creating exceptional content.
• You have an uncanny ability to discern compelling stories and are always on the look to find the engaging needle in the haystack of noise.
• You have significant experience in the finance and digital asset space and are comfortable navigating the territory on your own.
• You're an exceptional written and verbal communication and love to express your ideas across a variety of mediums.
• You're extremely organized and creative and also enjoy diving into data to measure the success and performance of your creativity.
