Union Finance is building the Credit Primitive for DeFi. We believe that open, permission-less, community-owned financial applications are the future and that these new decentralized applications will gain global adoption as the user experience and caliber of these technologies grow

• Market: There are ~$2B in loans outstanding on Ethereum. All of which are collateralized. In traditional finance, un-collateralized lending is 100x that of the collateralized lending market.
• Product: We’re building the protocol to enable credit on Ethereum. We believe this is one of the missing primitives to allow DeFi to become Positive Sum and able to allocate resources to those with more ideas than capital.
• Team: We are a team of designers, system engineers, builders and crypto veterans looking to build a team of passionate thinkers, builders and dreamers
• We're backed by forward thinking investors (like Placeholder, 1kx, Coinfund, KR1, Scalar, and top DeFi Protocol builders).

What you’ll be doing:

• Owning and driving the development of Union’s frontend applications
• Iterating and shipping Union and Union related apps utilizing your tools of choice
• Working with the design and dev team to build high-quality interfaces
• Raising the bar for the UI and UX of our apps using high quality, forward-thinking code
• Working closely with Product & Design to implement new features
• Ensuring the web app is performant and secure
• Interacting with smart contracts, IPFS, and The Graph

Requirements:

You’ll fit right in if you:

• Have built modern high-quality web apps
• Have experience working with designers on solving UI/UX problems with code
• Are willing and excited to take loose ideas and make them a reality
• Have the ability to self-organize and collaborate within a 100% remote team
