Role Summary

The HR / Recruitment Coordinator drives our mission by supporting HR and recruitment initiatives and working with employees across the organization to ensure Pocket Network is a great place to work for everyone. In addition, the HR / Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the recruitment process including but not limited to sourcing, screening, qualifying, and new hire onboarding. This individual is responsible for ensuring the delivery of quality, timely and accurate information while maintaining confidentiality, as required.

Essential Job Functions

  • Identify, source, screen, and qualify top technical and non-technical talent across multiple disciplines while using various recruiting platforms
  • Schedule interviews and track candidates’ progress
  • Communicate with and work closely with Hiring Managers to ensure their staffing needs are met
  • Assist in managing recruiting, staffing logistics, drafting job descriptions, screening/interviewing candidates, and onboarding.
  • Manage 90-day review schedule; send out notification of 90-day reviews to managers, make sure completed in a timely manner and edit accordingly
  • Offer new ideas to engage diverse talent through different tools, channels, and messaging techniques
  • Serve as a point of contact to build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
  • Maintain overall awareness of recruitment best practices
  • Conduct background checks via our partner Checkr
  • Review and respond to incoming state and federal labor notices
  • Answers routine employee-related inquiries, as well as the basic policy and procedure questions.
  • Support HR programs that are linked to business performance
  • Assists with ad-hoc projects as needed

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Experience1+ year of recruiting, administrative, or coordination experience
  • 1+ years of experience supporting mid-level to senior management
  • 1+ years in a Human Resources support role

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment
  • Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods
  • Experience using data to identify process improvement opportunities
  • PC skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook tools
  • Proficient in the English language

  • Outstanding customer service orientation, sense of urgency, and a high-level of personal integrity
  • A proven ability to work independently and prioritize competing priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information and escalate issues when appropriate
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and dealing with ambiguity
