We are seeking a skilled and motivated Technical Sourcer to join our recruiting team. As a Technical Sourcer at LayerZero, you will play a crucial role in identifying and engaging top technical talent to fuel our company's growth. Your experience in agency recruiting and the startup ecosystem will enable you to effectively source, assess, and attract exceptional candidates.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand technical requirements for various positions within our team.
- Utilize multiple sourcing channels including online platforms, social media, professional networks, and industry events to identify and attract qualified candidates.
- Conduct thorough screening of resumes and applications to evaluate candidates' qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
- Engage with passive candidates and build relationships to generate interest in opportunities at LayerZero.
- Conduct initial phone interviews and assess candidates' technical skills and suitability for specific roles.
- Track and maintain candidate information in the applicant tracking system to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
- Collaborate with the recruiting team to develop and implement effective sourcing strategies, including job postings, referral programs, and talent pipelines.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in technical sourcing and recruiting, bringing new ideas and innovative techniques to the team.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in agency recruiting, specifically sourcing technical talent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a startup environment, preferably within the tech industry.
- Strong knowledge of technical roles, skills, and requirements, including software development, engineering, data science, and related fields.
- Proven track record in sourcing and engaging with passive candidates.
- Familiarity with various sourcing tools and platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, GitHub, Stack Overflow).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with candidates, recruiters, and hiring managers.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, specifically Greenhouse, and other recruiting software.
- Willing to work 5 days a week in person in Vancouver, BC.
