Role: We are looking to hire an executive leader to run one of the fastest-growing business verticals at Polygon - DeFi (Decentralized Finance). This role directly liaises with the DeFi team and Polygon's wider strategic teams. Responsibilities Manage a 15-member (fast-growing) team of DeFi (Decentralized Finance) and Fintech focused business owners. Manage sub-verticals like business development (1000+ clients), marketing and community (2M + reach), legal and payments, social media presence, and event management. Represent, communicate and embody the brand of Polygon DeFi (the largest DeFi ecosystem in the blockchain space). Interface with top VCs, Investment banks, fintech, and credit/lending institutions to further the cause of DeFi adoption and bring financial inclusion to the world via Polygon blockchain. Partner closely with NFT/Gaming projects and Venture organizations Own this business vertical in terms of execution, timelines, quality, customer success, and engagement. Ability to manage and delegate high-importance tasks in hypergrowth and fast-paced environment. Will be responsible to have a deep technical aptitude in Decentralized Finance and our Product/Service capabilities with the ability to explain/present and sell these to our clients. Experience 10+ years of experience in traditional banking, Investment Banking, FinTech, or Web3-focused companies in business development, operations, or general management vertical leadership. 6+ years of experience in agencies/consulting owning multiple portfolios in financial/investment/VC industries Experience as co-founder/founding team member of a high-growth startup. Experience in the Web3/BlockChain communities Experience partnering with Gaming/Tech/NFT lines of business Bonus Skills: Highly functional, ability to execute multiple projects across different lines of business with little guidance Ambiguity is a superpower. #LI-Remote This role will be reporting directly to the CEO, and partnering with several C-Suite and Org Level Leaders on a Global scale.
