Web3 Campus DAO - Senior Software Blockchain Engineer

About Campus Campus is a stealth startup working on a B2B web3 metaverse platform. *About the Role * As a Senior Backend Engineer at Campus DAO, you will be responsible for designing scalable web3 solutions. You will solve extremely challenging technical problems and envision long-term solutions using traditional backend development and the latest blockchain technologies You will be a core team member to help us ideate, design, build and maintain web3 features for our platform that will let users operate a business and take advantage of the latest blockchain/distributed technologies. You will wear multiple hats so your influence will extend beyond a traditional software development role. *Day-to-day, you will: * Work as a team to ideate the product vision Research and build proof of concepts to test technology Translate production requirements into executable technical design and roadmap Design solutions that account for high volume and potential roadblocks Build and test features Follow an agile software development Drive development and enforcement of standards, tools, and methodologies *You’ll need to have: * Years of Experience: 5+ years as a backend software engineer 3+ years of building software on blockchain technologies like ETH, SOL, etc Deep understanding of blockchain culture, ecosystem, challenges, and opportunities Experience with the Agile Software Development Process Initiative and self-motivation. Be able to work with little oversight. A Bachelor's degree in computer science or technology-related field or equivalent work experience is a nice to have Technical Skills and Knowledge Experience in building scalable applications on traditional and cloud-based architectures Experience with data modeling and tuning of relational as well as NoSQL datastores Industry background as a software engineer, data engineer, cloud architect, or relevant work experience Demonstrated ability to think and work systematically and logically *In-depth knowledge of the following technology platforms/stacks: * SQL Server and General Database Development .NET/.NET Core Smart Contract Development using Solidity (ETH), Rust (SOL), or Haskell (ADA) REST API development Microsoft/Azure platforms Other Skills / Knowledge Clear and concise oral and written communication Results-oriented/self-directed ability to drive change in a fast-paced environment Time management skills – the ability to multitask and prioritize across several clients at the same time Passion and proven talent for launching projects on time, on strategy, and on-budget Location: Irvine, CA Annual Salary Range: $90,000 - $155,000 plus bonuses for strong project performance Equity Range: 0% - 1% *Company Benefits Hybrid Remote Vacation Days & PTO Health & Dental Insurance Dynamic and Fast-paced Environment Lots of opportunities to Learn and Grow Free Company Lunches, Weekly Flexible Work Schedules
