Reporting Directly to the Country Manager in Poland, you will be instrumental in setting up key Finance policies and implementations based on the local requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the accuracy of financial control outputs and ensure processes comply with finance policies and procedures covering the Polish Market
• General control and accounting oversight for regional transactions
• Coordinate inter-company transactions, and consolidation for financial accounts and statements
• B/S review and analysis at the account level to ensure the financials are in compliance with local and local requirements
• Manage the processes for financial forecasting and budgets for the region
• Monitor compliance with management policies
• Provide support on license applications and regulatory reporting
• Monitoring adequacy of funds for the region
• Support annual tax and financial audits
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key Business and Finance partners
• Challenge and support in terms of efficiency and performance in line with the overall strategy and objectives, consistently striving to maximize the added value in order to improve the business performance In the region
• Driving synergies and constantly prioritize the efforts based on risk and value creation within the region

Requirements:

• 10+ years of progressive experience with 2+ years as Head of Finance
• Should have thorough knowledge of financial planning, corporate governance and compliance
• In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices
• Expertise of Poland Tax laws and compliances either with a Big 4 and/or in-house tax team at a reputed corporate
• Experience of working with Polish tax authorities; responding to queries, managing audits, managing any challenges, disputes, and tax litigation
• Significant experience of working with external advisors, internal controls, and compliance-related issues
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and lead teams through change
• Qualified Poland CA (CS is an advantage)
