Safariblocks is a privately-held company that researches, and builds blockchain-based financial instruments to advance financial health for consumers globally. Our products are built and hosted on the public, and borderless Algorand Blockchain Ecosystem. In collaboration with the Algorand Foundation, we are developing a protocol that includes a non-custodial all-weather crypto mobile wallet, a digital token and a custom asset tokenization web application.

We are looking for an energetic Finance Lead, with mid-level experience to join our core team.

As Finance Lead, you will be trusted with:

• Recording financial information against bank statements
• Keeping clear records of all OTC trades, and the company's public blockchain transactions with what account was debited/credited, volume and revenue calculations
• Modeling and forecasting treasury revenue growth based on company's product(s) operations.
• Managing operations and drawing out liquidity strategies
• Driving strategic initiatives in the finance department
• Maintaining and building strong relationships with banks, partner custodial finance providers, and other liquidity partners.
• Developing, and mapping out De-Fi strategies to ensure constant liquidity and ideal risk management for the company's treasury
• Recommending the best technology for optimization regarding treasury returns.
• Providing technical and financial expertise, and advising on strategies to ensure minimizing financial stability risks on company's treasuries.
• Providing technical and financial expertise, and advising on strategies to ensure minimizing financial stability risks on company's treasuries.
• Maintaining and building strong relationships with banks, partner custodial finance providers, and other liquidity partners.
• Recommending the best technology for optimization regarding treasury returns(automate). Note that, in some initiatives, you will need to work across other departments, which also means you can automate.

Skills:

1. Proven working experience as a finance professional, chief of staff, investment analyst, asset manager, treasury manager, or a relevant role.

2. Knowledge of the blockchain/crypto market

3. Communication & Negotiation Skills

4. Presentation skills using Canva, PowerPoint etc.

5. Time management and planning skills

6. Ability to work in stressful environments

7. BSc/BA in finance, economics, or relevant field

8. Proficiency in English

9. Having worked in the fintech or capital markets space is a plus but not required, can be substituted for work experience in the blockchain/crypto markets.

10. You need to have technical expertise, and ready to interact with new technology in your work
