JOB TYPE: Freelance, Contract Position (no agencies/C2C - see notes below) LOCATION: Remote - United States only (TimeZone: CST | Partial overlap) HOURLY RANGE: Our client is looking to pay $100 – $130/hr ESTIMATED DURATION: 40h/week - Long-term THE OPPORTUNITY What you will do in your role: · Experience in both .NET and Angular 2+ is required. Execution of this role will involve both the deployment of standardized product offerings and the creation of new solutions and services as required to meet customer needs. · Coordinate with peers in leading the effort to develop and/or refine processes that optimize the delivery of Cloud solutions and create value for our client and its customers. · Ensuring delivery of technical solutions that meet the business outcomes, consistent with software development standards and best practices for a service-oriented architecture. · Working with a team of engineers and analysts through the discovery, delivery, and support of a new platform that is focused on the transformation of their transportation management systems. · Collaborate with other product teams in order to develop and maintain UI standards across multiple sites, maintaining a consistent look and feel but allowing for modern UI design to be implemented. · Design web page layouts and optimize the user experience. · Perform analysis, design, and development work using a variety of solutions and technologies. Propose alternative solutions to achieve the desired result. · Maintain awareness of emerging industry trends and technologies which may create value. · Produce documentation to support solutions that you have developed in order to aid in support of the solution - perform on-call support as needed. · Create coding and logic specifications for developers as well as assist in coaching and mentoring others within the team. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience in: o Angular 2+ o .NET o Developing RESTful APIs o Relational Database (SQL Server, Postgres, MySQL, Oracle) o ORM Framework (EntityFramework, Hibernate, Dapper) o Website development using modern web frameworks like Angular, Vue, or React o SCSS, Sass, or CSS; Experience taking designs and recreating them with HTML and CSS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience in: o Leading technical design o Coaching and assisting in the development of other team members o Writing unit tests o Understanding of Onion, N-TIER, Hexagonal, or other formal architectural strategies o SOLID Development Patterns o Microservice vs Monolithic architecture o Message Queueing Technologies such as RabbitMQ or Kafka o Setting up an application to build in a Docker Container o AWS o Reactive Extension Library programming API like RxJS or ReactiveX o State Management libraries that follow a Flux architecture, such as NgRx, Redux or MobX o Unit testing using Jasmine, Jest, or any js/ts unit test framework o Previous experience with Transportation or Logistics Applications Apply Now!
