Community Manager job description 

In crypto communities, the role of a community manager goes far beyond simply moderating community engagement. It extends to maintaining a harmonized communication and engagement between the diverse network of communities, influencers, projects, investors, peers, leaders and community members. Not just this, you also have the responsibility to create robust growth strategies that reap ROI for our GameFi organization. 

We are looking for a qualified GameFi Community manager to join our startup that just celebrated our one-year anniversary! If you have experience in community organization and leadership, an intermediate to advanced knowledge of the crypto industry, you are self-driven, a quick learner, ambitious, innovative, professional always stiving to do the right thing and grow with your community members, peers, and leaders, we would love to meet you! We are expecting you to be experienced in social media, PR, communication, community engagement, relationship building, and promotional events.  

Ultimately, you will represent CollarQuest as the face, voice, and evangelist of our project and manage all community communications, engagement, social platforms, professional relationships, community content distribution and collaboration. 

Community Manager duties and responsibilities 

  • Expect, support and be accountable to a high standard of work ethic, loyalty, and integrity in yourself, volunteers, peers, and leaders of our community project.  
  • Understand, advance and stive to exceed expectations  
  • Set, plan and implement social media and communication campaigns, education, and strategies 
  • Support and promote all marketing campaigns.  
  • Provide engaging text and communication with marketing provided image and video content for all communities, social media, platforms, professional accounts, and influencers 
  • Organize and manage events to boost brand awareness 
  • Collaboration with the open-source community 
  • Coordinate with Marketing and leads   
  • Respond to business relationships, discord members and community issues, comments, and questions in a professional, kind and timely manner 
  • Monitor, track and report on feedback, engagement, online reviews and needs of everything in our universe.  
  • Provide insightful feedback on improvements on any and all aspects of the projects 
  • Liaise with Development, influencers, and other projects 
  • Build relationships with customers, industry professionals and journalists 
  • Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends 
  • Document, Report up and across to all participants and managers of the project  
  • Create and communicate clear milestones on community growth and engagement 

Community Manager requirements 

  • Fluent English ( Fluency in other language will be nice to have)  
  • 2+ year proven work experience or equivalent experience as a community lead, manager or similar role 
  • Able to work autonomously, set agenda and prioritize work with minimal input 
  • Experience planning and leading community initiatives 
  • Superior organization, documentation, filing  
  • Ability to identify and track relevant community KPIs 
  • Excellent verbal communication skills 
  • Excellent interpersonal and public presentations skills 
  • Excellent writing skills and strong editorial eye 
  • Experience with content marketing, social media and related tools 
  • Understanding of and passion for decentralized technology. 
  • Hands on experience with social media management 
  • Ability to interpret website traffic 
  • Knowledge of online marketing  
  • Experience in launching and managing community initiatives a plus 
  • Attention to detail, critical-thinker and problem-solver 
  • Ownership and accountability to everything under your management or affecting the success in your role   
  • Intermediate + user and knowledge of Microsoft environment and tools  
  • BSc degree in Marketing or equivalent work experience in relevant field
