About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced Community engagement manager with an interest in the crypto industry to join our team. This role focuses on managing and expanding our local online and offline OKX communities in the Middle East and North Africa region (MENA). Responsibilities will include moderating forums, chat groups, and social platforms, organizing online and offline events, collaborating with internal teams, and providing valuable market insights.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Grow the local online and offline OKX MENA community by building a new user conversion strategy.
• Monitor community sentiment and address issues promptly, maintaining a constructive community environment
• Develop and implement effective/creative strategic content plans in the MENA region, including the strategy for social media, affiliate marketing and email campaigns
• Oversee the quality of content executed via owned OKX MENA regional channels
• Drive interactions in the local OKX forums, instant messaging platforms, and chat groups with the community to increase positive engagement.
• Collaborate with internal departments to establish campaign objectives, complete tasks, and identify and solve problems affecting the MENA community

What We Look For In You:

• Native Arabic speaker with strong communication ability
• Experience launching community online and offline initiatives in the MENA region
• Previous experience with key social media channels (Twitter, Telegram, Discord)
• Strong understanding of cryptocurrency/blockchain related terminologies and trends and have a liking for crypto cultures
• Be able to work flexible and stretched hours to interact with the crypto community as frequently as possible

• Experience working across time zones and cross-cultural teams
• Bonus points if you have previously worked at a crypto exchange!
• Passionate about blockchain technology and the crypto payments space
